What Clients Say

"My life changed dramatically after Rosie entered the picture. She guided me through many major decisions and helped me find completion where I struggled before. I greatly value my relationship with her as she is funny and kind, but also challenging and thorough. I truly feel that if everyone had a Rosie in their life they would feel more satisfaction and joy in their lives—she will make you accountable while also making you realize that life is an exciting journey that should be savored."

— Kerrilynn Pamer, Co-Founder, CAP Beauty, New York, New York

"Rosie exceeded my expectations from our very first phone call!

After the death of my husband, I was looking to not only put my life back in order, but to also move my two businesses forward. Rosie was instrumental in bringing to light my strengths and how to successfully apply them. I was good at setting my goals and dreaming my dreams, but to actualize them was an altogether different story. I always felt as if I was moving in the dark without direction. I lacked the confidence, knowledge, and consistency to make things happen.

Rosie was my lighthouse! With her wealth of knowledge, great sense of humor, and the capability to effectively hold me accountable, she has put me on a steady course toward success. I'm almost to full capacity with my massage practice and, on occasion, have a waiting list. She helped me to realize my talents for writing and public speaking, both of which have efficaciously improved my skills in my direct sales business.

The greatest gift Rosie has given me is the ability to realize my inner strength. This has allowed me to build deep and meaningful relationships—a tool that helps in all aspects of business and, most importantly, life. I will forever be grateful for every minute spent working with Rosie!"

— Amy Lenardson, Massage Therapist & Independent New U Life Distributor, Wave Massage, Shrewsbury, MA

"One of the most invaluable tools I acquired through working with Rosie is the practice of process. Rosie helped me guide myself out of a fairly paralyzed place of fear and discontent by helping me identify and initiate the crucial small steps that become Big Change. I keep all of our notes in a "Rosie" folder in my Outlook, from which I readily access pertinent nuggets of wisdom relating to past challenges, so that I can use the same processes to get me over the next hurdle. I am so grateful for her not only helping me discover tools for action but also enlightening many emotional truths about myself, work, and success that I previously wasn't open to exploring.""

— Robin Rosenberg, Director of Creative Operations, Inventor of Bobbie's Boat Sauce, Portland, Oregon

"I was beyond delighted to provide a testimonial for Rosie. I have referred her to countless friends because she has had such a profound influence on how I approach all aspects of my life—my career, my personal relationships, and even my "off" time, which is always a challenge as a single mom. I started working with Rosie when I was aching for a career change and trying to launch my own creative project. I had hit a plateau that I couldn't surpass by myself. Rosie helped me prioritize my next steps, understand my core values that inform my work and my life, and develop personal habits that make me more effective as a colleague and entrepreneur. I consider my sessions with Rosie an invaluable investment that will last me the rest of my life."

— Vanessa McGrady, Author of Rock Needs River, vanessamcgrady, Los Angeles, CA

"Rosie is an incredibly generous and resourceful ally. Positive and careful. Generous and punctual. I am very glad for all the work we did together. I feel better equipped for my future and I owe much of it to her support."

— Alessandro d'Ansembourg, Public Relations, Palazzo Monti della Corte, New York, New York

Rosie Reardon is a terrific coach. She is smart, proactive, and her experience shows. She listens, remembers, and responds in sometimes surprising, but always well-targeted ways. She helps me remember what is important in my life and with her guidance and support, I am finding myself prioritizing what really makes me "sing." The bonus part of this work with Rosie is that shortly after each time we meet, she sends me an email summary of our work together, complete with "fieldwork"—the action items we have agreed upon. For me, this is a tremendous help, and I am considering how I can incorporate something similar into my own teaching. I highly recommend her.

— Jean Rife, Music Faculty at MIT & New England Conservatory & Longy School of Music of Bard College, Brookline, MA

"Working with Rosie has changed me and the way I live my life. Working with her was truly one of the best things I've ever done for myself.

In our work together, Rosie helped me navigate significant transitions in my business (and my life) and helped me to prioritize self-care, even when (especially when!) I didn't think I had time for it. Rosie helped me filter out the noisy chatter of self-doubt, tune into my own intuition and figure out where to go next. Even now, when I struggle with a complicated issue or am not sure where to go next, I often ask myself, 'What would Rosie say?' and immediately things become clearer.

Rosie is generous, warm, honest and respectful, plus she's no-nonsense, funny and whip-smart. Rosie is so good at what she does that she makes it seem effortless—for me, this is a sure sign that she is truly meant for this work. She's a gem!"

— Jenn LaBelle, Designer & Strategist, jennlabelle.com

"When I started working with Rosie, I was in a staff job that while gratifying and prestigious, wasn't everything I wanted. With Rosie's coaching I overcame a number of entrenched fears to recognize the entrepreneurial areas I wanted to focus and work on. These were things I knew I wanted but had been afraid to pursue because I thought I lacked some of the requisite skills. Rosie specifically helped me in the areas of networking, building meaningful business relationships and partnerships and not being afraid to ask for what I wanted; in short, taking action. The structure provided by Rosie has helped me to not only become more creative, but most importantly, I've become a better producer."

— Benjamin Lehmann, Producer, World Domination Films, New York, New York

"Working with Rosie provided me with much-needed structure and guidance at a time when I was pretty lost and confused. I had suddenly and unexpectedly become a caregiver to our firstborn child, and was reeling from that awful new reality. Our son's extraordinary needs made it clear that I was not going back to corporate marketing, as we had planned. Meanwhile, we had a steep mortgage payment and my being home was causing considerable stress on our marriage.

I needed to get back to work—pronto. But after the traumatic events with our son, the idea of returning to my marketing career felt very shallow. I wanted to do something more meaningful, and zeroed in on a career change to music therapy.

Rosie is one of those people you talk to and feel you have known forever. She was so calm and steadfast. I had a lot of insecurities at the time, and she addressed them without making me feel bad about myself.

In the end, Rosie steered me back toward leveraging my marketing skills, at least for the time being. At first, I was frustrated that my new career goals were being rerouted, but in hindsight I can see her wisdom. She was trying to help me diffuse the serious stress going on in our lives by getting me back to some stability and an income sooner than later, with what I already knew how to do.

Three years ago, fueled by this work with Rosie, I hung my shingle for the first time as a marketing solopreneur. I had been raised to be fairly risk-averse, so this was scary, but I had little to lose at this point. What this reinvention of myself did was pivotal for our finances and our marriage. We were able to keep our beloved house. I could be my own boss, work flexible part-time hours from home, and care for our disabled son and his younger brother when I needed to. It made an impossible situation workable, and it felt pretty revolutionary.

Several months ago, I achieved a new goal for myself and found a wonderful healthcare employer that has allowed me to keep this mission- critical flexible schedule while joining their staff. It also allows me to use my newfound skills as an "Unregistered Nurse!" I am very proud to now be the Director of Marketing for York Family Eyecare.

Rosie didn't solve the riddle for me, but she stood by my side and gave me lots of tools so that I could do that work. She kept me calm and focused when I quite frankly just wanted to scream and run away. She believed in me, and helped make sense of a very difficult life situation with a smart plan to move forward.

I am so grateful for the expertise and grace that Rosie brought to my re-entry to the workforce."

— Michelle Chumsae, Director of Marketing, York Family Eyecare

"I have worked with several coaches over the years, but I really have been the most encouraged and had the best results working with Rosie, and I'll tell you why I think that is. One, I feel that Rosie really is just a natural-born coach, and this presents itself in many ways including a calm confidence that allows her to easily encourage and guide her clients (including me!). Two, I always feel that her commitment to me and my success comes through very clearly in our work together — I feel her number one goal is for me to achieve success (which, I am happy to admit, I have!). Three, she is a straight shooter and I feel her approach to giving honest feedback is firm but also kind, which has helped me to take a look at things that I need to improve in a positive, inspired way. Four, her coaching is practical and action-based, which is the best kind of coaching as it is the most likely to produce real, measurable results. I really value her support and encouragement. You are a rock star, Rosie!"

— Anne Stericker, Lifestyle Consulting & Life Coaching, Live Well. Be You., Los Angeles, CA

"Hiring Rosie as my coach was one of the best decisions I ever made! Even after just one coaching call with Rosie, I started making positive changes. Immediately, I started setting better goals and began to feel "unstuck." Throughout our coaching, Rosie always asked powerful questions that helped me to look at things from a different angle. Additionally, she acknowledged my accomplishments and encouraged me to take time out to celebrate them rather than quickly moving on to the next action step.

I originally hired Rosie to help me with career development, but I appreciate that she saw me as one complete package, helping me make strides in my personal life as well. Not only did I start my own business, but I also strengthened my marriage, improved my parenting skills, lost weight, and decluttered my entire home. Also, because of Rosie, I now celebrate my strengths instead of focusing on my weaknesses. I am truly grateful to her and believe she is an amazing coach. Every time I think of her, I smile. Rosie had a hand in all my accomplishments throughout our time working together, and as new opportunities and challenges arise, I know I can always turn to her again for perspective and support."

— Lori Tingle, Owner, Performance Essentials, LLC, Cincinnati, OH

"I've been in high tech marketing for most of my adult life and last year was a miserable year. I really didn't know if it was me or the job but I needed someone to help me figure it out; someone who was not a therapist. I'm a huge fan of therapy but this was less a case of "how did my family of origin influence my behavior" than "how do I change my situation?" On the day I was to speak with Rosie for the first time I got laid off. Five months later, after she picked me up, dusted me off, helped me figure out where I wanted to go and set me on the path, I broke up with her. And she was happy to see me go!

Working with Rosie is a bit like having your own personal self-help book. Her guidance appeals because it's accessible. She helps you realize how much you are, or can be, in control, so you don't feel as if you're at the mercy of the powers that be. Rosie assigns what she calls "fieldwork" to encourage exploration and self-care; helps you set goals specific to your situation (e.g. frustrated writer, budding entrepreneur, partner in difficult relationship); provides support and encouragement. Her sessions are full of illustrative stories and practical strategies. She is empathetic, funny and warm. I'll miss talking to her but we did good work together and it was a wonderful experience."

— Judy Mintz, Writer, Arlington, Massachusetts

"When I started working with Rosie, I was unhappy in my career as a web designer but had no idea how to make positive changes in my life. I worried too much about what I should do vs. what I wanted for myself. Through hard work and learning to take manageable steps towards my goals, today I am an artist, and work both for myself as a printmaker and at a contemporary art museum, a community where I thrive. Rosie also helped me learn the value of exercise and self-care as a means to feeling my best. For the first time in my life I can honestly say I know who I am and what I want. Rosie is a great partner, a sympathetic and insightful listener, and will keep you honest about your own responsibility for how you choose to live. Even now I still find certain "Rosie-isms" float through my head as I continue to make progress. I cannot recommend her highly enough to anyone wanting to make positive and long-lasting changes in her life."

— Jennifer Schmitt, Artist, Azure Grackle, Concord, Massachusetts

"I hired Rosie after my therapist of all people suggested that I find a coach. When I started with Rosie, I didn't like where I was living, was unhappy in my personal life and burnt out on my career. With her support I was able to figure out what I really wanted and become confident and focused enough to pursue it. I am now happily married, living in a place that I love, and really excited about my life. Rosie has an inner magic, a keen intellect and great sympathy for others. She will help you figure out how to help yourself, and the results will be amazing."

— Anna Bell McLanahan, Stonington, Connecticut

"When I first contacted Rosie, I felt ripe with potential but stuck in a pattern of financial instability, dissatisfaction and fear. I was an associate editor at a prominent lifestyle magazine, and yet I was struggling to make ends meet and felt in many ways like I was spinning my wheels. Not long after I started working with Rosie I was promoted at the magazine. An immediate goal was met, but there was more to come. Within the next year, I figured out a way to leave that job, become self-employed and at least double, almost triple, my income. The financial freedom I have enjoyed is priceless, but maybe more importantly I have learned to confront my fears, to embrace honesty. Rosie taught me that "Where there's a will there's a way," and that goals that may seem unattainable are indeed possible. She has motivated me to make braver decisions and feel more certain about them; her coaching makes me feel inspired and hopeful. She was recommended to me, and I highly recommend her to others."

— Louise Rivers, Stylist, New York, New York

"From an outsider's perspective, I had an exciting corporate career with great potential for additional growth and financial reward. But from my perspective, I was burned out and wanting to make a change. Even so, for years I felt stuck and was unable to take action. And then I started working with Rosie who helped me to see the bigger picture of wanting to live a life that is more authentic and satisfying, with my career as one important component. With Rosie's open mind, caring demeanor and relentless support, I was not only able to make the leap and leave my job, but I am also on a path to a more fulfilling career and overall happier life."

— Gracie Longwood, Boston, Massachusetts

"Rosie has a real gift for understanding her clients' needs, fears and capabilities and helping them to see a vision for 'the way forward' with work and life. The money I invested in coaching is really paying off in my feeling better about myself, as well as getting a good client response and new projects with the launch of my consulting practice. I also see the potential for getting better organized so I can build the practice in a way that provides longer term stability and satisfaction... Rosie is worth her weight in gold!"
